The impact of globalization has not been uniform amongst all the sectors of producers and workers.
Small manufacturers who produced batteries, capacitors, plastics, toys, tyres, dairy products, and vegetable oil have been the worst affected because they were not able to compete with the financial might of the MNCs. On the other hand, companies who supplied raw materials to such MNCs prospered because of the increasing demand
Workers who worked in small scale sector of the country like those mentioned above, had to also take a hit as such enterprises closed down. On the other hand, skilled and semi skilled workers received encouragement in the form of increased job opportunities and better remuneration from the MNCs.
