Both aerobic and anaerobic respiration starts with glycolysis but after that due to absence of oxygen mechanism of respiration changes to anaerobic. End products of Anaerobic respiration are mostly lactic acid or alcohol with carbon dioxide. Energy produced in anaerobic respiration is less than that of energy produced in aerobic respiration.
