Open in App
Solution

Antibiotics:

Antibiotics are effective drugs that work against bacterial infections, and fungal and parasitic infections.

Effects of overusing antibiotics:

  1. Body develops antibiotic resistance, the condition in which the same antibiotics are unable to kill the pathogens.
  2. Antibiotics may also kill some useful bacteria present in our body which leads to gastric distress over a long period.
  3. Excess usage of antibiotics leads to the development of many side effects in the system like improper digestion or loss of appetite.
  4. These side effects may include respiratory issues, and skin disorders as well.
