Solution

Dear student,

Minerals are naturally occurring substances which is uniform in composition and can be found in a solid, liquid state. They are obtained from Ores which are concentrations of minerals in rock combined with other elements and high enough to be economically extracted for use. All ores are minerals since ores consist of minerals mixed with other elements, but all minerals are not necessarily ores.
