why bulbs in parallel circuit glow brightly and why not in series circuit

Dear student
If you are connecting bulbs in series, then their effective resistance is more in compare to that when you connect in parallel.
And if the resistance will high the current will be low.
So in series we get dim light and in parallel we get glowing light.
