Why can't we hear the sound produced by a vibrating pendulum?

Human ears can hear sound in the audible frequency range that is between 20 Hz and 20,000 Hz. The sound produced by vibration of pendulum is less than 20 Hz which is infrasonic sound and thus, is not audible to human ears.
