Why did Buttoo revere Drona as his master?

Drona was best one of the best archers in his time. Even though Drona had refused to accept Buttoo as his student, Buttoo still revered Drona as his master and believed that he had learnt everything about archery from Drona. Buttoo saw Drona as the source of his knowledge and inspiration. Hence, revered him as his master.
