The Revolutionary failed to overthrow the British by violent means due to following reasons:-
  • Most of the Indian leaders were still against the use of violence to secure independence from the Britishers.
  • Due to this the revolutionaries failed to secure mass mass participation.
  • There was also lack of proper planning which was very necessary to overthrow the powerful government of Britishers.
