Solution

Dear User,
Carbon has a valency of 4 and so it can form single, double or triple bond. The type of bond formed depends upon the no. of electrons shared. If one electron is shared, single bond is formed, if two then double and if three then triple bond is formed. A compound can have all bonds single, a single and a double bond, double or triple bond or all the three bond together. The type of bonds depend on the type of compound.
