Solution

  1. Inertia: An object will continue to be in the state of rest or in a state of motion unless an external force acts on it.
  2. When a train starts suddenly the passengers fall backward due to the property of inertia.
  3. The lower body of the passengers is in contact with the train and remains stationary while the upper body is not in direct contact with the train
  4. so it experiences a jerk, pulls back as the train moves forward when the train starts moving and gets them imbalanced.
