Solution
In order to to see the inner parts of the flower clearly, we have to cut it if the petals of the flowers are joined.
A complete flower is a structure that is made up of four different parts namely sepals, petals, stamens and carpel which are arranged in four whorls.
Petals are the second whorl or corolla that are arranged next to the calyx.
In all the bell-shaped flowers like datura, petals are joined. So, in order to to see the inner parts of it, we have to cut it lengthwise and spread the petals.
