Question

Why does democratic government take time in decision making

Open in App
Solution

Dear student. Delay in giving decisions is bound to take place in a democracy, due to following reasons: 1. It has to follow procedures before arriving at any decision. 2. The decisions so taken should be acceptable to the people and also effective. So, since they are liable to follow norms and also have the responsibility to lend a responsible decision, this actually delays them. Regards
