Interia is occured because of property of resistance of any physical object to any change in its position and state of motion. An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless some force causes its speed or direction to change. In fact, it is the natural tendency of objects to resist changes in their state of motion.Inertia is that quantity which depends solely upon mass. The more mass, the more inertia.
