Question

Why does it matter if a species go extinct?

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student

Every species has a unique role in its ecosystem. If one species go extinct it will disturb the food chain as well as our whole ecosystem. It is going to affect other species also. Like if you remove herbivores from the food chain, carnivores population will also suffer as they will have no food to eat.
