  1. Shade provided by the trees makes a big difference.
  2. Trees uptake water by their roots and the water then flows through the vessels in the trunk (sap) into leaves and evaporates via numerous stomata.This is called transpiration.Trees also cool the air by a process known as 'transpiration cooling'. As trees release water into the atmosphere from their leaves via transpiration.The water that is released in its gas vapor form has a cooling effect on the surrounding air.Water keeps us relatively cool.
  3. In the tropics, water evaporates naturally from trees, increasing cloud cover and keeping temperatures cooler.
