Question

Why don’t the transparent materials form shadows?

Open in App
Solution

  1. A shadow is formed by the complete blocking of light by an opaque object.
  2. The shadow is dark due to the absence of light in that region.
  3. Only opaque objects can form a shadow, not transparent ones because transparent objects can’t block the light.
