why high frequency wave cannot be communicated as sky wave?

Dear student,
Skywave propagation depends upon the reflection by the ionosphere. Since wave having frequency more than 30 MHz penetrate through the ionosphere and it isn't reflected back. Hence wave having high frequency cannot be propagated by sky waves.
