Question

Why home appliances are connected in parallel combination ?

Open in App
Solution

  • In order that each appliance has an equal potential difference, they are connected in parallel to each other.
  • In series Combination, If there is a fault in one appliance, supply to all the appliances will get effected. Also not all the appliances will need same current(Ex: Water heater needs more current compared to a filament bulb).

Hope this helps :)
