Reason for connection of fuse wire with a live wire

  1. A fuse wire is a wire connected in series with the live wire in a series connection if any overvoltage or high load or malfunctioning in the electric connections it melts and breaks the electric circuit.
  2. It is made up of copper wire which breaks or melts at overheating caused by the result of overvoltage or high load.
  3. It protects the appliances from the damage which are connected to that circuit
