2. In series connection, each component of the circuit receives a small voltage, so it cannot get the required power, which cause damage in device.
3. All electrical appliances have only one switch in series connection , so circuit cannot be turned off or on separately.

Hence, the series arrangement is not used for connecting domestic electrical appliances.
