Solution

Golgi apparatus:

  1. The Golgi apparatus is an organelle found in most eukaryotic cells.
  2. It is also known as the Golgi complex, Golgi body, or simply the Golgi.
  3. It bundles proteins into membrane-bound vesicles inside the cell before the vesicles are delivered to their destination as part of the endomembrane system in the cytoplasm.
  4. The primary function of the Golgi apparatus is to process and transport proteins and lipids both within and beyond the cell.
  5. It is situated close to the ER and has an impact on the proteins produced by the RER's ribosomes.
  6. It is responsible for the synthesis of glycoproteins and glycolipids.
