Solution

Dear student,

The Himalayas are divided into three parallel ranges:
  • Himadri
  • Himachal
  • Shiwalik
This is done to categorise the flora and fauna according to the height of these parallel ranges. One range has a uniformity in temperature, pressure, flora and fauna. These are the names given to these categorisation.
