Open in App
Solution

It is considered as a distinct geographical entity because of the presence of Himalayas which isolate it from rest of Asia, presence of Indian Ocean and it's offshoots which isolates it from the rest of the world ,the unity in diversity here also makes it unique, the monsoon which arrive here also makes it unique.
