Water is an essential source for living organisms on Earth. So there is a big need for conserving water. We can not survive without water.
Two reasons for conserving water -
1) It minimizes the effects of drought and water shortages.
2) Population is increasing day by day and so is the demand for water. Huge amount of water is needed for domestic and industrial purposes. Water conservation is important to meet this increasing demand.
