The constant k in coulomb's law is called as dielectric constant.It is given by the relation,k=14πεo where εo=Permittivity of free space or vacuum =14×π×8.854×10-12 =9×109 N.m2/C2As permittivity of free space never become zero, the value of k never become infinite.
