Why pickles and curd are not stored in copper and brass utensils ?

Dear student. Pickels and curd are sour in taste . As we all know , that sour substance have acids . So pickels & curds contains acids . Now acid reacts with metals to produce harmful & toxic salts . So it may react with copper & brass utensils and produce toxic salts which will make food unedible . Regards.
