why prokaryotes are considered as living as they do not have membrane bound organelles?

Solution

Dear Harsh, I did not say prokaryotes are non-living. They are primitive. They have nucleic acid present in them in nucleoid ( nucleus without membrane). Also, primitive organelles are there to support their life processes. Hence, they are living.
