Why recruitment is a positive and selection a negative process? (3 marker)

Dear Student, Recruitment is a positive process as it seeks to persuade more and more people to apply for the job. When we do recruitment then thousands of people apply for job (more and more people apply for job),that's why it is a positive process. It creates a link between job seekers and job givers. The process of selection aims at selecting the best candidate out of the recruited pool. During this process, the other candidates who do not qualify the requirements or are unfit for the job get rejected. It is due to this fact that the other applicants are rejected or eliminated, the selection process is said to be negative. Regards!
