Conservation of biodiversity:

  1. Conservation of biodiversity is the protection, scientific management, and upliftment of biodiversity to maintain its threshold levels and derive sustainable benefits for present and future generations.
  2. Biodiversity should be conserved to prevent species extinction.
  3. It is preserved to maintain a balance in nature.
  4. If one organism in the food chain gets extinct it will impact the lives of other organisms.
