Question

Why the molar conductance of increases with increase on dilution?

Open in App
Solution

With increase in dilution, molar conductivity increases,
=K×1C
K decreases as the number of ions per unit volume carrying the current decreases on dilution.
Concentration decreases, 1C increases which overcomes, decreases in conductivity. Hence molar conductivity increases.
