why we use dilute nitric acid with manganese to form manganese nitrate and hydrogen ? Can't we use concentrated nitric acid ?

Principal product is Manganese nitrate and by product only differ in each case. When we use dilute acid the products are Manganese nitrate and nitrous oxide and water. When we use con acid the products are manganese nitrate and nitrogen dioxide and water.
