Question

Will you be able to drink water in space using a straw? why/why don't?

Open in App
Solution

No, you can't. Because there is no atmosphere (filled with air) and atmospheric pressure. ie; straw depends on the surrounding pressure of the atmosphere to push matter into our mouths, it follows that a straw could not work in space.
