Solution

India is divided into 545 Lok Sabha electoral constituencies. Once the term of the existing Lok Sabha is over, elections are held in each of these constituencies. Each constituency has a number of electoral candidates. Voters in these constituencies vote for the candidate of their choice. The candidate with a simple majority of votes win from the constituency. This way, one member of the Lok Sabha is elected from every constituency.
