Original Jurisdiction of the Supreme Court:
Disputes between the Government of India and one or more states
Disputes between two or more states of the Union of India
Disputes between the Union and any state, as well as disputes between other states
Suits involving Fundamental Rights and interpretation of the Constitution
Power of Judicial Review:
The Supreme Court has the power to review or examine any law passed by the legislature.
If the law passed by the legislature contradicts any provision of the Constitution, the Supreme Court can declare it null and void.
