• Razia Sultana was the daughter of Iltutmish and belonged to Slave dynasty.
• She was the first Muslim woman to rule Delhi.
• She ruled for a breif period of 4 years inspite being very capable ruler. It was because the opposition from her nobles who were not in favour of a woman ruler.
• Nobles cirticised her not following the purdah system and supporting a slave named Yaqut.
• She finally died in a battle against her nobles.
