Work done by a force F on a body is W=Fs, where s is the displacement of body. Given that under a force F=(2^i+3^j+4^k)N a body is displaced from position vector r1=(2^i+3^j+^k) m to the position vector r2=(^i+^j+^k)m. Find the work done by this force.

The correct option is A -8 J

The body is displaced from r1tor2.

Therefore, displaeement of the body is,

s=r2r1=(^i+^j+^k)(2^i+3^j+^k)=(^i2^j)m

Now, work done by the force is:

W=Fs

=(2^i+3^j+4^k)(^i2^j)

=(2)(1)+(3)(2)=8J
