Write a brief note on the policy of Non-alignment of India.

When India got Independence, the world was divided into two hostile groups viz., Anglo- American bloc and Russian bloc. Pt. Nehru who put forth the idea of Non- Alignment believed that India should keep herself afoot from the struggle between these two blocs. Thus the policy is to not support or go against any of two military power.
