Solution

Conjugated protein is a protein that functions in interaction with other chemical groups. They have non-protein or prosthetic group attached to them. This prosthetic group is either attached by covalent bond or weak bond. Glycoproteins, lipoproteins, nucleoproteins, Heamoglobin are examples of conjugated protein. In glycoprotein, carbohydrate is attached to the protein group. In lipoprotein, lipid is attached to the protein group. In Nucleoprotein, nucleic acid is attached to the protein group.
