Open in App
Solution

Prokaryotic DNA is found in a central part of the cell called the nucleoid. Prokaryotic cell size ranges from 0.1 to 5.0 μm in diameter.
Cell surface size: Notice that as a cell increases in size, its surface area-to-volume ratio decreases. There are present many operons and overlapping genes which ultimately maintains the cell economics in the given size of the genome.
