Solution

Darwin’s theory of evolution

Charles Robert Darwin was a British naturalist who proposed the concept of natural selection and survival of the fittest. According to this theory, the individuals with better variations or adaptations will be healthier, stronger, will get more resources, and will have more mates as compared to the other individuals of the same species. These traits which help the individuals to better adapt to the environment will be naturally selected as they will help in better survival and reproduction, and will be passed on to the offsprings. So, slowly after many hundreds of generations they would evolve into new species which will be very much suited to that environment.
