Reproductive parts of a plant
The flower and fruit are the reproductive parts of a plant.
The flower contains the male and female reproductive part.
The male part is known as stamen which consists of anther and filament.
The female part is known as pistil consists of stigma, style, ovary and ovules.
They are called the reproductive parts of a flower as they give rise to the fruit by the means of sexual reproduction.
Fruit encloses seed within, which can give rise to the young plant upon germination.
