• Christianity introduced a new style of architecture called the Gothic style.
• Churches and missionaries played a major role in the growth of education by establishing educational centres. Thai benefitted numerous people, especially women and weaker sections, and led to qualitative changes in society (empowerment).
• Missionaries have also spread health services all over the world.
