Write a short note on the hip bone.

The hip bone is a large flat bone which is constricted in the center and expanded above and below. it consists of 3 parts, namely ilium, ischium, and pubis. It is connected to the sacrum forming sacroiliac joint. It is also connected to the femur bone by ball and socket joint of the hip.
