• Protozoa- Plasmodium.

Uses of microorganisms:

1. Used in bakeries these days for baking the food.
2. Microbes are present in the body, building the immune system.
3. Maintaining ecological balance.
4. Rhizobium bacteria help in fixing nitrogen in leguminous plants.
5. Lactobacillus bacteria converting milk into curd.
6. Some bacteria in the gut involves in the digestion of food.
