Write an expression for Newton's Universal Law of Gravitation.

The universal law of gravitation states that the gravitational force of attraction between two masses separated by a certain distance is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the masses.
If m₁ and m₂ are the masses separated by a distance r then,

$$\begin{gathered} F\alpha m_1{m}_2 \\ and \\ F\alpha \frac{1}{r^2} \end{gathered}$$

From the above equations,
$$\begin{gathered} F\alpha \frac{m_1{m}_2}{r^2} \\ F=G\frac{m_1{m}_2}{r^2} \end{gathered}$$

G is called the Universal gravitational constant. Its value is found to be $6.67\times {10}^{-11}N{m}^2/k{g}^2$
