Solution

Fibrous joints are the joints between two bones which are connected by dense connective tissues. These joints are immovable joints. They are stronger than all other joints present in the body and provide strength and support to the joint. These are mostly 3 types.
1. Sutures: Sutures are found in between the cranial bones. These do not permit movement.
2. Syndesmosis: Syndesmosis are the slightly movable fibrous joints in which bones are connected by connective tissue. They are found between distal end of tibia and fibula.
3. Gomphosis: Gomphosis is the fibrous connection between the teeth and the alveolar socket of maxillary bone and mandible.
