(a) Syphilis:

  1. Syphilis is a disease caused by the spread of bacteria during sexual contact between an infected individual and a healthy individual.
  2. The bacteria causing this disease is called Treponema pallidum.
  3. It causes a burning sensation during the release of urine and urethral discharge.

(b) AIDS:

  1. AIDS or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome is a sexually transmitted disease caused by a virus that spreads through sexual contact.
  2. The virus causing this disease is called human immunodeficiency virus or HIV.
  3. It attacks and weakens the body's immune system, making it vulnerable to infections.
