Write in detail about the benefits of locust in the field of animal husbandry.

Locusts are the grasshopper like insects or slightly larger than grasshoppers which can cause damage to growing crops.They are found in the grasslands or in crop fields. They eat the tender parts of the crop plants like leaves, flowers, bark, stems, fruit, and seeds and cause loss of yield. The other insects that destroy the crops are: beetles, aphids, mites etc.
