• Synapses are the contact points where one neuron communicates with another.
• The cell body contains a nucleus, cytoplasm, and granules called Nissl's granules.
• Cell body with the granules branches out to form dendrites.
• Axon is usually longer segments extending from the cell body and terminates as axon terminal.
