Solution
Prokaryotes:
These are single celled organisms which lack a membrane bound nucleus and other well-developed organelles (Mitochondria, Golgi bodies, chloroplast, and lysosomes).
The genetic material present is called the nucleiod. It is an irregularly shaped region present within the prokayotic cell which contains the DNA.
Eukaryotes:
Eukaryotic cells have the nucleus enclosed within the nuclear membrane and other advanced organelles such as mitochondria, Golgi bodies, chloroplast, endoplasmic reticulum and lysosomes.
The nucleus contains a single, linear DNA, which carries all the genetic information.
